Oral Hygiene Tips During Corona Virus Lockdown 2. With the many changes going on in the world right now it can be hard to focus on our oral hygiene more than usual. With working from home and or online learning, a focus on dental health is easy to forget, but that’s why it is all the more important to look after your oral health , mind and body
1) Brushing your teeth morning and evening for 2 minutes. Using an electric toothbrush or manual toothbrush Only removes 60:/: of the bacteria .So it is important you clean the inter dental areas with floss or tepes also .
2) Flossing your teeth or using daily interdental aids is important also to clean in between the teeth .
3)cleaning the tongue helps to remove bacteria and enhances your tastes buds and helps to achieve a fresh breath . You can use a toothbrush or tongue scrapers.
4) Drink 1-2 litres water Daily , because dehydration promotes bad breath as you have less protective saliva in your mouth.
5)Have a well balanced diet in place to avoid cavities caused by excessively sugary foods and or drinks.
6) exercise/ walk / Daily
7) Mindfully, consciously , using naam simran, or mool mantra can make help you feel connected to the moment and make you feel calm and at ease whilst doing above actions . 8) staying healthy is important during this uncertain period. Taking the above actions will help you achieve a healthy mouth , mind , body .
