TODAY (2 January 2020) corresponding to Poh Sudi 7, 1723 Bk. (1665CE) is the Perkash Diharra of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. This was the day Maharaj took his manifestation in the house of Mata Gujri Ji and Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji at Patna Sahib. Such was the heart of Our Guru that despite sacrificing his family and regalia, he continued to pursue the cause of common men like us to be freed from the shackles of poverty and inferiority. He blessed us with sovereignty when we even failed to serve Him. No religious figure has ever blessed his form to their disciples except for Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He even gave us his name and the honour of Him being our father. Bhai Nand Lal Ji writes;
ਖਾਲਸੋ ਬੇ-ਕੀਨਹ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ | ਹੱਕ ਹੱਕ ਆਈਨਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ | 𝑃𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑎𝑡 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡, 𝑆𝑟𝑖 𝐺𝑢𝑟𝑢 𝐺𝑜𝑏𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝑆𝑖𝑛𝑔ℎ 𝐽𝑖 𝑖𝑠 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝑒 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙. 𝐺𝑢𝑟𝑢 𝐺𝑜𝑏𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝑆𝑖𝑛𝑔ℎ 𝐽𝑖 𝑖𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑖𝑟𝑟𝑜𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝑤ℎ𝑖𝑐ℎ 𝑜𝑛𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑒𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑜𝑚𝑛𝑖𝑝𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑡 𝐴𝑙𝑚𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡𝑦.
