GURDWARA ELECTIONS 2020
Guru Nanak Darbar Election Board was formed on the 13th October 2019 to allow the Sangat (Gurdwara Congregation) the capability to vote for their chosen Mukh Sewadar for Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara. The Election Board obtained consent under the current scope, for Election purposes and canvasing only. The election board was an independent body that was selected at the AGM by the Sangat.
The election followed a process aligned to the Constitution and legal requirements under the General Data Protection Regulations, which included Popularis to manage the elections and Selectabase to send and receive consent forms. These suppliers were third party independent organisations appointed by the election board.
The outcome of the Gurdwara Presidential Elections formally announced on the 26th January 2020 are as follows:
