ANAND KARAJ CONDITIONS
The Government has updated guidance on the safe use of places of worship, including for wedding ceremonies, which will apply from 21st June 2021 onwards. In the case of Gurdwaras, this covers the religious Anand Karaj ceremony, as well as the Civil Registration that happens in some Gurdwaras. The purpose of this form is to ensure that you understand and agree with the statements below.
These terms and conditions aim to ensure the safety of the Sangat whilst visiting Guru Nanak Darbar Gurdwara (Gravesend) and prevent further transmission of the virus, and is consistent with the guidance issued by the Government, Kent County Council, Gravesham Borough Council, Public Health England & Emergency Services.
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by the necessary precautions that we have had to implement. Some of the requirements listed here are also to comply better with Sikhi Rehat Maryada.
The terms and conditions described in this document affect all couples and families planning to hold their Anand Karaj and Civil Wedding at the Gurdwara until further notice.
